VS 2010 I want to save the message if check box is clicked and save the text of radio buttons

I want to save the radio buttons, I am using streamwriter to write the data in the form. I want to save male or female from radio button. I have defined Gender as function in the structure. So now how do i write male or female. or how do i make it appear when i view same record in same form again.

Also I have checkbox and I have kept message to show when it is true how do i save the checked box message to the same file where i want to store the gender.
