Need help please

Hi Guys

Im from South Africa, Im actually Afrikaans-speaking so I apologize if my English seems strange.

I need some guidance\advice.
I have recently been given a job opportunity at a small accounting software company that requires me to learn VB(currently using VS2010), and I've been studying everyday and will continue to do so until I feel I need to move on to something else.
Anyway, I have been instructed to write a basic application that pulls data from a SQL database and displays it visually.
- basically it needs to display lots in a warehouse, items(item codes) in those lots and quantities of those items.

I would like it to look similar to that.

Please, I just need you guys to point me in the right direction, you would be helping more than you know.
