Help: Crystal Report Viewer and .net

Hello all,
I started another thread in the reporting section regarding Crystal Reports and Blobs however I'm starting to think my issue is not with Crystal but more so with the report viewer because in Crystal Reports XI app. the report runs fine. It is when I go through my app and try to show the report in the viewer, is where things I start getting the error and the blob(image) file not showing in the picture control.
So my question is.
1)Are there know limitations to the CR viewer, as in blob field size? I don't think so as I have tried to resize the picture control in crystal without any luck.
2)Is there a different control (viewer) that I could use to show a Crystal report in?
3)I load the image into my picture box in my app via a opendialog dialogbox and then save it to the database via the dataadapter, is this really getting saved as a Blob? The Access data field is set to type OLE Object, but I really don't have any logic to do this, unless Access converts it at the db level. This might be the issue, but some of the images do show up on the report, sometimes.

I've read alot about others having this same issue. Some point to file type and CR not supporting GIF but I know mine are .JPG and people not having there CR updated. I updated to CR XI R2 SP6 yesterday and that didn't work either. And I haven't really found anything else.

I've read that it's not a good idea to save images into a database due to geting a bloated db fast. And I agree, however how can save just the path and get not only my apps picture boxes to show the image, but a CR to show the images. They have to be specfic images in a specfic place, both in my app and on the report. I thinking somthing like .imagepath combined with .imagename should reteive the correct image and then I would have to pass them to my report as parameters I guess. Wow what alot of work just to get images out of my db through my app and onto a CR.

Anyway, what would the correct way to save and retreive images or there paths to a Access DB and could you suggest a way to get these same images to a Crystal Report without just draging the database field onto the CR designer (that doesn't work apparently) as your supposed to be able to do.

Oh yea, sorry to the mods if this seems to be in the wrong forum. I guess I thought since I seem to be having a problem with a control and maybe the logic behind saving and retreiving from a db, this would be a good place for it.
