Saving Data under Specific Name

Hey guys, I would need you to help me with making part of my new project. I will need to save a lot of data (Paths to programs to be exact), and name them with specific name. So I want to save string with name like "String1" and then use some code to read it by searching for it under its name.
I hope you understood and some of you will come up with a some good (If it is possible, compact) code.
